Last year, we introduced the 'Battle For The Barge' Winner Nights where YOU chose 5 bands that would take the stage in addition to our regular season.
NEW for 2025 - Battle for the Barge - Elimination Style!
There will be ONE winner, and they will take the stage on Sunday July 20, 2025 at 7:30pm
Here is how “Battle for the Barge” works
This is an elimination-style bracket contest, a competitive format where bands face off (virtually) in head-to-head matchups, and the audience votes to determine who advances to the next round.
Register your band before February 26, 2025!
you must be willing to hold the date until we contact the winner on March 31, 2025
be able to provide a stage plot / input list for our Sound Technician
have a video link we can use for the 'battle'
Qualifying Round: All bands who register for the battle will go (virtually with their video entry & application) before a panel of four judges (Shawna Patterson, Fred Schulz, Kelly Hamilton & Holly Carney) who know the barge audience best! They will take into considering the interests and expectations of the audience, the fee for performance, and the quality to determine which 16 bands will advance to Round 1.
Round 1 (Feb. 28 - Mar. 6): 16 bands compete, YOU VOTE, 8 advance.
Round 2 (Mar. 7 - Mar. 13): The top 8 face off, YOU VOTE, 4 move forward.
Round 3 (Semifinals Mar. 14 - Mar. 20): The final 4 battle it out, YOU VOTE, leaving just 2.
Round 4 (Finals Mar. 21 - Mar. 27): The top 2 compete head-to-head, and the audience votes to crown the ultimate winner!
