Update - November 2024
On Nov. 19, council approved new development charge rates for the municipality.
See the news release for details.
Thank you to everyone who provided input during the consultation process.
What are we doing?
We are conducting a Development Charges Background Study.
The purpose of the study is to determine the new development charge rates for the Town of Gravenhurst.
These rates, if approved by council, would take effect Jan. 1, 2025.
What are development charges?
Development charges are fees the town collects from new construction projects to help pay for growth-related infrastructure investments in the community.
These investments include such things as new sidewalks, parks, and equipment.
How can you participate?
